As you pass through this web site, I hope you stay long enough to journey with me just a short while down life's path. I yearn to share my heart with you through on-going writings from my journey. My intent is not to tell you about me...I hope you will relate to my journey so that this will be a special "rest stop" for you in your own journey. I hope you find the words in my writings to be genuine, not religious.

I chose Christ My Heart as the title for this web site because because Jesus is preeminent (Christ) and personal (my) and precious (heart) to me...He is the very heart of who He has made me to be in Him through His cross. Jesus Christ Himself is my passion...not just the object of my passion, but the source of my passion...as is true for every Christ-one. My wife (Joy) and I welcome you! Please make yourself at home.

HISTORICAL TEXTILE LEAGUE BASEBALL IN SOUTH CAROLINA

Below is the semi-pro baseball mill team Calhoun Falls Clippers. My mother's first cousin Neil Chrisley is in the center. This team was watched my major league scouts and Governor Strom Thurmond. This team also beat Clemson College Tigers State Championship Team in 1950! Also below is a link to a fascinating history of textile league baseball and Neil Chrisley's career. Enjoy!
